David Moyes’ sacking by Manchester United continues managerial madness

So the ‘Chosen One’ has become the sacked one after Manchester United parted company with David Moyes after an uninspiring season that saw the champions slip to a side who may not even get a European place next season.

And the decision to remove Moyes from his post makes United the ninth side this season to part company with their manager following in the footsteps of Sunderland, Crystal Palace, Spurs, Cardiff, West Brom, Fulham (twice), Norwich and of course us.

Add to that Stoke, Chelsea and Man City all of whom changed last season along with Everton – the vacancy created by Moyes moving to Old Trafford – and you have 13 of the current 20 Premier League clubs all having a manager who has been in place for less than 12 months.
