Liverpool remained on track in their challenge for the Premier League title as they twice came from behind to thrash Cardiff City 6-3 in Wales.
Luis Suarez again grabbed the headlines with another hat-trick while Martin Skrtel scored a double before Daniel Sturridge made the game safe later on.
It was, in the end, an impressive performance from Liverpool but they did things the hard way after twice letting Cardiff go ahead after a poor start to the game, with young left-back Jon Flanagan especially poor.
However, they say it is the sign of a good team that they win when they are playing badly and by that logic Brendan Rodgers would have been delighted that his side were level at the break.
