Jack Wilshere insists Arsenal’s squad is good enough to challenge for the Premier League title despite a lack of additions in the January transfer window.
The Gunners were widely tipped to add to their squad last month – especially in attack – but boss Arsene Wenger managed just the loan acquisition of Kim Kallstrom, who is expected to be out of action until mid-March through injury.
Many pundits have poured scorn on Arsenal’s hunt for silverware following their unproductive January, with injuries meaning Wenger’s squad is already thin on the ground.
But Wilshere believes the Gunners have enough talent spread across the park to remain in contention for the duration.
