Jamaican bobsleigh star Winston Watts reckons sprint icon Usain Bolt would be a great addition to their squad once he quits the world of athletics – even though the Olympic track legend admits to hating the cold.
The world’s fastest man has expressed a desire to play cricket and football after retiring from top class athletics, but Watts said the world’s fastest man could try out for his country’s team if he ever tired of dominating the running track.
‘Usain is a busy guy – he doesn’t have my number and if a text comes in it will be a surprise,’ Watts said after his team’s first Winter Olympucs practice in Sochi.
‘I’d love to know that he is behind us.
‘He would be a very good pusher but he is not the kind of person who likes cold. He has definitely said that.
