Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is reportedly planning an £80million summer spending spree to take the club to the next level.

Wenger, who is in the process of finalising a new long-term contract at the Emirates Stadium, has been promised big funds to take the club forward.

And according to the Daily Mail, the Frenchman has already drawn up a three-man shortlist of players wanted to improve the Gunners side.

Arsenal are in need of a new right-back, a central midfielder and a striker – and it’s thought that in-depth meetings with the club’s scouting network have taken place to focus on targets.
