David Beckham’s kids prefer him as an action man rather than an undies model.
The retired footballer said he was conscious what his kids would think after his latest turn of modelling boxers for H&M was aired in a £2.5milllion advert slot at Sunday’s Super Bowl.
Asked what his offspring thought of their flashy dad, he admitted: ‘They love the ad. They see their dad going down the zip line, they’re not so keen on running around London in the underwear.’
But the sight of himself in his underwear can sometimes be even too much for the 38-year-old dad of four to bear.
‘I kind of put my head down when I’m walking past any billboards,’ Beckham said, who is glad the new advert of him bounding over rooftops is PG friendly, adding: ‘It’s the Super Bowl. Kids are watching.’
