Victor Moses had an unusual Saturday for a couple of reasons.

The on-loan winger not only made a rare start for Liverpool in the FA Cup fourth round victory over Bournemouth, but he also made a big impact with an even rarer decent performance.

The former Crystal Palace youngster, who has been borrowed from Chelsea for the season, scored the first goal in the 2-0 win over the Championship side.

It was only Moses’ second goal for the Reds, and his first since scoring on his debut in a 2-2 draw against Swansea.

He was impressive that day too and excited the home fans but failed dismally to build on it and has been left out the side more often than not since with Raheem Sterling more often than not getting the nod when rotation kicks in.
