Nicklas Bendtner rejects Trabzonspor transfer to stay with Arsenal

I hope Arsenal get something done fast and get someone signed on before its too late.

Nicklas Bendtner has snubbed a move to Trabzonspor to stay at Arsenal because no new strikers will be arriving at the Emirates.

It was expected Arsene Wenger would bring in a new forward to help Olivier Giroud stay fresh and as insurance in case the club’s top scorer suffered a lengthy injury.

But moves for Schalke’s attacking midfielder Julian Draxler, Lazio’s Germany international Miroslav Klose, Real Madrid prospect Alvaro Morata and Juventus forward Mirko Vucinic have all failed to materialise.

Turkish outfit Trabzonspor made an enquiry about Danish international Bendtner after failing to land Papiss Cisse from Newcastle.

But with the opportunity to play more games for the Gunners as they chase their first silverware since winning the FA Cup, Bendtner decided to stay at the Emirates.

The 26-year-old, who has been farmed out on loan to Birmingham, Sunderland and Juventus in…

News: Tottenham Win Red Card Appeal

But the overturned car does not make any amendment to the three points already secured. hmmmm

The FA overturned Danny Rose’s red card from Wednesday’s match with Manchester City.

Rose was sent off in the 50th minute by referee Andre Marriner after what replays showed was a clean tackle on Edin Dzeko. Marriner appeared to signal for a corner, before having his mind changed by linesman Scott Ledger. Marriner then awarded City a penalty kick and sent Rose off for denying a clear goal scoring opportunity.

Looks like Andre’s first instinct was right, after all.

Rail passenger caught with kilo of cocaine hidden in homemade leg cast

See new innovation to smuggle

A drug smuggler was arrested after being caught with a large amount of cocaine in a very unconvincing plaster.

Daniel Ramirez was travelling from Chicago to California by train when he was approached by Drug Enforcement Administration agents during a stop in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

According to federal court records, Ramirez, appeared ‘increasingly nervous’ as he spoke to the agents, who reported that ‘his hands were shaking’, the Smoking Gun reported

He told investigators that he was taking the 41-hour Amtrak train trip to Chicago to visit a friend and had suffered a leg injury in a motorcycle crash.

But agents noticed his cast that was ‘uneven in texture, size and shaping not consistent with that of a cast applied by a medical professional’.

When Ramirez agreed to remove a sock, the lower portion of cast ‘began to crumble and fall off the bottom of his foot’.

Agents peered down…

Lille ‘reject Arsenal bid’ for former Chelsea striker Salomon Kalou

And Arsenal keeps losing out after waiting till the very last minute. Still got like 5 hours to go, lets see if they can pull out another Ozil magic

Salomon Kalou will not be on his way to Arsenal after Lille rejected a loan bid for the striker, according to reports in France.

The Gunners are keen to bolster their squad before tonight’s 11pm deadline, having missed out on several transfer targets this month.

And it appears former Chelsea man Kalou is the latest to be eyed by Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, but the 28-year-old’s current club Lille are not willing to let him go on loan, according to RMC Sport.

It is understood, however, Lille would have been willing to sell, with Kalou among the club’s top earners.

Kalou joined the Ligue 1 side in the summer of 2012, fresh off the back of his Champions League success with Chelsea, ending his six-year association with the Blues.

Why are Arsenal messing up yet another transfer window?

With the way am seeing things Arsenal may end up not signing anyone tonight. As in seriously, why must we find ourselves in this mess everytime. The clock is ticking and our fingers are crossed.

Arsenal are good at making a mess of the transfer window. We’re the late Christmas shopper without a real plan or a proper shopping list.

The big news this transfer window was that we were chasing Julian Draxler of Schalke, but after 31 days of the transfer window, we’ve decided that £37m is simply too much money to spend now.

We’d rather spend it after he has an amazing World Cup and goes up in value by £20m.

A similar thing happened with Suarez. If we’d paid the £55m in the summer, we’d now have a player worth £75m and we’d have a far better shot at the title.

Anyway, the Julian Draxler deal is apparently a no go so we’ve instead turned out attention to Kim Kallstrom. The ex-Lyon midfielder is on our radar. He’s 31-years-old, playing in a terrible league and let’s be honest, he’s being bought because he’s…

Who is Arsenal transfer target Kim Kallstrom? The low down

Time is running out and all ears are open for the latest news from the Arsenal Camp. Lets all keep our fingers crossed.

With Arsenal struggling with injuries to Aaron Ramsey and Jack Wilshere, Arsene Wenger has moved for Swedish midfielder Kim Kallstrom.

But what exactly do we know about him, and why are Arsenal signing him? Metro Sport is here with the full low down.

So, who is he?
Kim Kallstrom is a 31-year-old midfielder who plays for Russian club Spartak Moscow. He’s a left-footed player who has a good passing range and an eye for the odd goal.

He began his career in his native Sweden, before moving to France with Rennes and then onto Lyon. He impressed for both clubs and joined Spartak in 2012.

What type of player is he?
Kallstrom is a typical Arsenal player. He’s a creative playmaker who wants to pass, move and score goals. Make no mistake, he’s not a classic number 10, he likes to play a little deeper than that, but his game…

10 of the most overplayed (but still wonderful) 90s songs

Can remember listening and loving all these songs in the 90s’. Good to go back memory lanes. ENJOY

Some people enjoy sitting in the pub for hours with a beer, some love attending warehouse raves, others adore standing in Mayfair clubs in painful heels holding a £15 margarita.

For me, the greatest night out has always involved visiting a 90s-themed nightclub, wearing Converse and pretending I’m eight again as all the anthems that played in the car on the way to school are loudly blasted from a speaker and my equally nostalgic friends perform an eager Macarena in unison.

But for those of you who have come to terms with their age and haven’t listened to Steps since they took their first steps here are 10 of the most overplayed – but still absolutely wonderful – 90s songs.

1. Saturday Night – Whigfield

Of course we always get the order of this dance wrong. Jumping too soon, making up hand movements and even singing the wrong words. This song stayed…

Woman goes downstairs to make breakfast, finds puma in kitchen

If this were to happen to you what will you do???

A woman got an unwelcome morning surprise after she found a puma waiting in her kitchen.

Amalin Haddad had been making breakfast when she spotted the animal in her home in Santiago, Chile.

She said: ‘I was making breakfast and all of a sudden … I thought it was a dog because I saw its legs first, but it was a puma. A puma, a puma like those you see in the zoo.’

Making her way outside, Ms Haddad took pictures of the animal while she waited for the Agricultural and Livestock Service of Chile (SAG) to come and remove the wild cat.

Unfortunately the puma was in no rush to leave, apparently managing to remove several tranquiliser darts.

After it was finally removed the puma was taken to the national zoo, where it was treated for minor injuries.

It is not yet known how the animal made its way…

Kanye vs. the world

Is this what love is really all about??? Kanye is just all over Kim

It appears Kanye West has tried to stir the pot again, as his campaign for Kim on the cover of Vogue continues.  Recently, Kanye publicly confronted a Vogue editor Anna Wintour about choosing to put Lena Dunham on the cover of next month’s issue instead of his beloved Kim.  He went on to say that not only was Wintour “listening to a bunch of “know-nothing” corporate haters” and that Kim “is just as talented as Lena, if not more so”.

I am not a huge fan of Lena Dunham.  Frankly, I think she’s pretty weird and I really don’t like seeing her naked all the time, but I will absolutely give credit where credit is due.  I LOVE the show Girls.   My take on the show is that I actually relate to each of the characters (Hannah, Shoshana, Marnie, and Jessa).  I identify with each of them in some way…
